Oprah says goodbye to television!
The Oprah Winfrey Show is one of the flagship programs on American television, but it will end its cycle in 2011.
Oprah Winfrey herself will announce its decision Friday in the program, reported the website of The New York Times.
A spokeswoman for Winfrey confirmed that the host aborts the program on September 9, 2011, in his 25th season.
The broadcast, sponsored by CBS, has about seven million viewers a day.
Apparently, Winfrey prepares to launch its own cable television channel.
The presenter, who had a difficult youth, including unwanted pregnancy and abortion, is considered one of the most influential people in America.
