Avatar the movie more expensive and not yet complete.

Overproduction of $ 500 million led by James Cameron still has to polish his thirty minutes of footage, which eventually will be two hours.

The premiere of Avatar is set for Dec. 18, although its 'premiere' for this date to December 10, but the tape is not finished. According confessed John Landau, one of the producers of the film, there are still incomplete in 30 minutes to polish missing various aspects of sound and image.

In any case, the producer, in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, said the end result will be ready for the deadline and will be spectacular. That yes, a lot of attention to the most expensive production in film history, in the words of its own head, is called to mark a before and after in the design of the Seventh Art is not finished by now.

On another of the unknowns of the film, its duration, it seems that Cameron finally has content (remember the Titanic which lasted 194 minutes) and Avatar will not have the three hours it was initially rumored.

In fact, as said Bruce Snyder, president of domestic distribution for 20th Century Fox, the film will last two hours, two hours and 40 minutes if we add the credits. Ultimately, 150 minutes of footage, polished or unpolished, which have become its own right in one of the most anticipated events of the year.
